National Flight Academy Scholarships

Child Guardians offers a potentially life-changing experience through scholarships awarded to select youth who have confirmed cases of abuse, neglect, or abandonment.  Youth participate in the National Flight Academy or the Flight Adventure Deck!

Scholarships for one-day or five-day “deployments” to the U.S. Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida invite youth to participate in National Flight Academy.   Activities are designed to

inspire,
engage, and
educate the next generation of leaders.

Youth scholarship participants are assigned to squads to complete an exciting variety of STEM activities (STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.) 7th to 12th-grade students must be eager to learn and open to adventure.

For the Flight Academy, the recipients of the scholarships must be able to live away from home for 6 days in a multi-story, 102,000 square foot facility. While there,  they will experience theme-park style thrills surrounded by advanced technology, flight simulators, and virtual reality games that ignite imagination and encourage learning.

For the Flight Adventure Deck experience, groups of scholarship students participate in an entire day of STEM activities designed to provide an abbreviated experience with flight.
